Day 1: Embark in Papeete in the morning. Visit the town and see the
Gauguin museum.
Day 2: Cruise to Moorea. Anchor in Opunohu or Cook Bay, right in front
of the great barrier coral reef. If you like you can go for a walk to the Belvedere and in
the mountain. If you prefer, bicycle around the island ( a five hour ride). Go for a
snorkel or windsurf.
Day 3:
Shopping in Moorea. After dinner, leave for overnight cruise for Huahine, Polynesia's
favorite island. |

Day 4: Arrive in the morning in a village called Fare in Huahine.
Visit the island by taxi where you will discover the most beautiful Marae (Polynesian
temples) in Polynesia as well as vanilla plantations. Enjoy splendid views of the lagoon.
Day 5: Anchor
in Avea Bay, south of the island. Swim, snorkel and windsurf.

Day 6: Cruise to Raiatea, the "sacred island". Anchor
on the south of the island on the leeward side of the Nao Nao motu. Some nice
snorkeling with plenty of shells, especially cowries.
Day 7: In
Raiatea visit the Marae. Go horseback riding or diving in the lagoon to see blue and
purple coral. |
Day 8: Cruise around Tahaa's lagoon. Tahaa is called the "wild
island" and is well known for its vanilla plantations. Anchoring on the leeward side
of a motu and visit one of the motus via tender. Anchor for the evening in Patio Bay.
Day 9: Anchor
in Vaitoare Bay. You may go for a walk around the island, visit the vanilla plantations
and go to the co-op where they prepare the best vanilla in the world.
Day
10: Leave in the morning for Bora Bora. It is the
jewel of Polynesia. Anchor for lunch on the leeward side of the Toopua motu. A wonderful
white sandy beach entices you to swim, snorkel, windsurf or relax. Anchor for the evening
opposite the yacht club.
Day 11: Leave
in the morning for Maupiti. Anchor in the lagoon entrance by the Pitahe motu. Enjoy the
afternoon before cruising on to anchor in front of the village of Vai'ea. |

Day 12: Spend a day in Maupiti, go for a walk around the island,
horseback riding and sailing in a pole pirogue. End the day drinking a refreshing island
cocktail ...

Day 13: Cruise to Bora Bora. Anchor in front of the hotel and its
white sandy beach where you can swim and take a walk. This is a great place to shop. If
you like, watch a Tahitian dance show and listen to Polynesian songs and music.
Day 14: Enjoy a
farewell breakfast and last swim before your flight leaves from Bora Bora to Papeete. |
